Procedure & Fees
The process begins with an initial consultation where several key elements of the mural are discussed. These include the purpose, vision, and scope of the mural—along with its physical size, color scheme, and hanging location. During this conversation details regarding the schedule, the possible framing of the mural, and the location and surface preparation for the upcoming mural are also discussed.
Once the preliminary focus of the mural has been established, a face-to-face meeting is scheduled where the artist can become better acquainted with the project and location and where reference materials can be collected. This meeting can take place at the subject's home or office, the artist’s studio, or other preferred location.
Utilizing the refernce materials and other information gathered from the previous meetings, the artist creates a color composition that is sent to the subject for comment and review. Once approval is received, a firm schedule is finalized and work on the final mural begins.
Work on the final mural can last several weeks as the artist applies his skill, technique and most diligent effort into creating a masterful piece of artwork. The process is completed as the details concerning preservation of the mural are discussed and the preparations for an unveiling party, if desired, are finalized.
Each mural is priced based on the overall complexity and size of the piece. Mural prices start at $1000.
Please contact the artist directly to discuss the details necessary to begin.
